Team USA walked away with a staggering 10 of the 28 awards, more than any other nation and two more than last year’s total.

With an electrifying 2023-24 season that included four medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, 11 at the Junior & Cadet Worlds in Riyadh, and a record-breaking 26 at the Veteran World Championships in Dubai, Team USA proved it is a global fencing powerhouse.

This dominance was further celebrated at the 2024 FIE Awards Ceremony, held Nov. 30, 2024, during the FIE Congress in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The event honors the world’s best junior, senior and veteran fencers and teams — and Team USA walked away with a staggering 10 of the 28 awards, more than any other nation and two more than last year’s total.

“The 2023-24 season was one of the greatest in the history of USA Fencing,” says Phil Andrews, CEO of USA Fencing. “These awards recognize not only our incredible athletes but also the coaches, clubs and families who support them. As we look ahead to 2024-25, we’re excited to build on this momentum as we set our sights on even greater success at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
