Participated in national and regional fencing tournaments throughout high school before sustaining injuries to left femur ... Was eventually diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and began parafencing in 2018 ... Isaacson currently works as an outpatient occupational therapist specializing in hands and pain management. She uses her experiences as a disabled individual to provide comprehensive care to her clients, as well as work to develop adaptive sports in her hometown.
