About me: Kirk joined USA Fencing  in May of 2023 from Fighting Irish Media at the University of Notre Dame, where she served as an Assistant Athletics Communication Director. At Notre Dame, she oversaw social media, content, and media relations for several sports, including the national championship fencing teams in 2022 and 2023. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and a master’s degree in sports management from Frostburg State University, which is where she was first introduced to being a athletic communications professional. 

In her free time her husband and herself take their dog Buzz on walks around the Notre Dame campus where he can bark at every squirrel that is in his eye sight! They also enjoy rewatching Friends and then building the Lego sets of the iconic apartment and coffee shop. They are on to the Star Wars Legos next!
