About Jess Saxon

USA Fencing is thrilled to welcome Jess Saxon as our new Director of Member Safety & Organizational Compliance, a pivotal role dedicated to ensuring a safe, supportive environment for all members of our fencing community.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Saxon most recently served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, specializing in criminal prosecution, corruption cases, administrative law, and employment counseling. Her impressive legal background, combined with her firsthand understanding of the demands of elite athletics, positions her uniquely to address the needs of USA Fencing members.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jess Saxon knows firsthand the rigors and dedication required by high-level sports competition. An accomplished weightlifter, she represented Team USA and secured the title of 2020 USA Weightlifting National Champion in the 55kg class.

In her new role, Saxon will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, supporting compliance, and promoting integrity across all aspects of fencing. Her appointment emphasizes USA Fencing’s ongoing dedication to creating a respectful, inclusive culture where every participant can thrive—both on and off the strip.
